Restaurants & local businessCoffee truck POS

A coffee truck POS that keeps taking orders with no signal, and knows the margin on every cup

The owners of For Brew's Sake were new to running a coffee truck and wanted a POS on their tablet. We built them one that takes orders, runs the queue, tracks stock by recipe and shows the margin on every cup, without ever waiting on the internet.

The owners were new to the business. They wanted a POS on the tablet they already had, and needed to work out how to make the truck profitable while keeping on top of orders, inventory and day-to-day operations, at spots where the signal comes and goes.

What we built

  1. 01

    Fast counter ordering

Tap a drink to add it; long-press to change size, milk or extras. Cash, UPI or card, and the order number is assigned automatically.

  2. 02

    A live order queue

Every order moves from new to preparing, ready and picked up, with voids and refunds behind an admin PIN.

  3. 03

    Stock that follows the recipe

Each drink deducts its beans, milk and extras. Staff log waste, admins restock and count, and costs update as prices change.

  4. 04

    Tomorrow's buying list

Suggested quantities for every ingredient, shared to suppliers on WhatsApp, then marked received to restock in one go.

  5. 05

    Margin on every cup

Net sales and gross margin, a Star / Plowhorse / Puzzle / Dog menu matrix, busy hours, and sales by location and weather.

  6. 06

    Works with no signal

Orders never wait on the internet. Optional cloud backup syncs every device, each with its own order numbers and staff PINs.

“We were new to the business and wanted a POS on our tablet. We didn't know how to make the truck profitable or keep on top of orders and inventory, so they built us an app that handles all of it.”

You run a café, cart or truck, and your billing app can't tell you which drinks actually make money. Let's build one that can, and keeps working when the signal drops.
